Race day itself starts early Sunday with the swim at 7:30 a.m. near Ross’s Landing, followed by the bike leg from about 8:10 a.m. to 1 p.m. out Highway 27 through Red Bank and Soddy Daisy, then the run winding along the Riverwalk, Veterans Bridge, Barton Avenue, and Hixson Pike into the evening.

If you’re headed downtown this weekend, expect rolling closures on Riverfront Parkway, Chestnut Street, MLK Boulevard, and Highway 27, along with a full closure of the Tennessee River to pleasure craft Sunday morning.
